YEAR END ART PARTY AND WATER PARK PICNIC
THURSDAY, JUNE 16TH
Dear Grade 5/6 Parents,
The end of the year is quickly approaching and this activity will be a great time for us to celebrate the year we spent together.
We are going to 4 Cats Art Studio in White Rock for a Splatter Art Party and then we will go to South Surrey Water Park for a picnic lunch and water fun (if it is raining we will be going back to the class for games instead of the water park.). The date for this is June 16th. Students should arrive at the school wearing their non-uniform messy clothes (including old shoes, see DRESS POLICY BELOW) on Thursday, June 16th at 8:20am. They should bring 1 small size bag with a change of clothes, a towel, and a bagged lunch. We will leave the school at approximately 10:10 am and head to the art studio. We will leave the art studio at approximately 11:45 and head over to the water park for lunch and play time. We will only need 2 parents in the art studio but all parents are welcomed to join us at the water park for the picnic lunch. We will leave the water park at approximately 1:30 and head back to the school. Students will not be allowed to bring any electronic or handheld devices such as Ipods, CD players, or video games on our trip
Dress Policy: Students are asked to dress informally with casual, loose, and comfortable clothing. Any type of dress that will restrict the student from fully engaging in the art making process should not be worn. Art making is often a messy process, and children will get messy! Please use common sense when dressing for art class as acrylic paint does not wash out from clothing or shoes.
The Art Studio cost to students is $ 15.00 each. Please fill out and return the attached form and the money by June 9th.
Sincerely,
Paul Lukacin
